Vehicle Camping

Twenty-three lettered spaces (A through Y) are reserved for vehicle camping. Along the loop, most spaces enjoy a great view overlooking the Valley while a few are nestled into the trees. Availability may be limited by mud or snow, so please call to check on conditions, especially from November through early-May. Sites I through K are often closed in the winter months. Several sites are near electrical outlets.

No Pull-through sites ~ No Hook-ups ~ No Dump Stations ~ No Use of Generators ~ No Fires
(sound carries everywhere here and generators can be heard in every campsite and pond!)

Please limit or shield artificial lights and noise so all can fully enjoy the tranquil beauty.

What we DO have...
Spectacular Views ~ Clean Air and Pure Water ~ Beautiful Sunsets ~ Incredible Starry Nights ~ 24-hour access to Pools and Ponds

Visitor Guidelines and Map

The vehicle camping area is mostly out in the open, though there are some shady spots on the east side of the loop. Many sites - particularly those on the west side overlooking the valley - have dramatic views. All sites have a picnic table. Campfires are not permitted at individual campsites due to chronic drought conditions and fire safety concerns. Campers have use of all facilities including the Oak House kitchen and dining area. Though the loop is designed for campers, trailers, and RVs, you may tent camp here though you must specifically reserve a Vehicle site (not a Tent site). Checkout time for campsites is 12 noon, though all overnight guests may use the hot springs facilities before departing the property by 8 pm.

There is a nightly charge for each Vehicle sites in addition to the nightly per adult admission fee. See Rates.
